I am currently a research scientist at MIT working with Dr. Scott Manalis in the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research. My research interest in general is engineering biomedical devices to interrogate biological systems with extreme precision. Understanding and monitoring biological systems at micro and nano scales, where cells, secreted vesicles and other nanoscale particles reside in heterogeneous solutions is challenging. I employ advanced engineering approaches of electronics, microfluidics, optics, signal processing and microfabrication to develop high precision and high throughput instruments to overcome these challenges.
